Rocio Simmons is originally from Mexico. She’s worked in Oregon with Hispanic communities through non-profit organizations and translation agencies since her arrival to the U.S. in 1994. She has a Bachelors Degree in Communication Sciences and more than 15 years of experience working with Latinos. She currently oversees our INEA program and Folkloric dance group. She is passionate about helping empower the Latino community through culture and education. She believes that these two components are the key for the community at large to become stronger.
