Adriana Ortega was born in San Jose, California and grew up in Veracruz, Mexico. Graduating from high school, she moved to the state of Oregon in the fall of 2015. She currently attends Clatsop Community College and plans to obtain a degree in the medical field.

Adriana started participating in volunteer activities with the Hispanic Council when she moved to Astoria. It wasn’t until a year later that she started working for the organization, as an office assistant and now also assists the community in applying for the Oregon Health Plan (OHP). In her free time, she  enjoys doing outdoor activities, reading and supporting with voluntary actions in non-profit organizations.
